Role Overview
In our journey towards becoming a digital-first organisation, Asia Securities is seeking a Technical Lead / Associate Technical Lead to lead day-to-day engineering delivery for the assigned in-house application portfolio. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor software development activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and review application components, integrations, and backend services in line with approved requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Estimate development effort and identify technical dependencies, risks, and delivery blockers.
- Maintain coding, architecture, security, testing, and documentation standards.
- Conduct code reviews, resolve technical issues, and support controlled releases and application stabilisation.
- Coordinate with QA and business analysis teams to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge transfer to software engineers and interns.
- Support application code transfers, technical documentation, and integration activities across relevant teams.
- Maintain source code and technical records in approved repositories.
- Escalate unresolved technical decisions and resource constraints through the appropriate reporting channels.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ years of software/application development experience, with demonstrated responsibility for technical delivery and code quality.
- Proven ability to coordinate development activities, review code, and guide team members.
- Experience in software integrations, backend services, debugging, and application maintenance.
- Strong software engineering, security, and documentation knowledge, with excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical knowledge-transfer skills.
- Tech Stack: .NET Core (C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core), Next.js (React, TypeScript), PostgreSQL, Redis, Git/GitHub, and Azure/AWS cloud platforms.
